What we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of financial management or controller-level experience (Construction industry preferred)
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• Proficient in QuickBooks and construction accounting software (BuilderTrend a plus)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Honest, respectful, reliable, and accountable
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills

Description of Duties

• Managing financial controls and helping to ensure the company meets cash flow goals. Preparing detailed Financial Reports on cash flow monthly.
• Providing clear direction on financial performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Team Members.
• Attending team meetings and proactively identifying solutions to support ongoing projects related to streamlining efficiency.
• Maintaining, tracking, and reporting financial aspects of projects, including Subcontractors, materials, coding, forecasts and billings.
• Enhancing professional growth through coaching, courses, team meetings and Goal Setting and Review (GSR) Meetings.
• Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with tax regulation and oversee year-end audits and tax preparation with CPA.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
• Colaborate with project managers and owner on budget tracking, billing and cost controls.

Requirements

• History of working in a construction company office environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Business Diploma in Accounting.
• Experience with accounting software tools and current technology.
